The Tri-County Business and Professional Women announce their Tri-County 2017 Young Careerist Award Winner Sara Trinkl – is the community engagement director for The Parenting Place. Prior to working for The Parenting Place, Sara was the Assistant Store Manager of a 10 million dollar Kohl’s store. She later became an executive tasked with the job of opening the new store in Easley. While she was the assistant manager the Easley store ranked #1. Sara is very involved in community activities. She led the Associates in Action program at Kohl’s. The store averaged 40 events a year for the community. At present Sara is active in or a member of the following: Pickens Rotary Club, Ambassador for the Chamber of Commerce, Graduate of Leadership Pickens Co., Board Member for Junior Leadership Pickens Co., a mentor of 2 students for the Y-Mentor program, President of the newly formed Foothills Civitan Club, Member of the Early Learning and Family Action team, a Member of the Women in Leadership and a part of the Nonprofit Alliance of Clemson. Sara is currently working on her masters in nonprofit management. She aspires to delve in to politics and become a part of impacting real change, and eventually she hopes to run for a seat in the House of Representatives.
