The Easley Chamber’s Powdersville Business Council (PBC) hosted Pick-Up Powdersville (PUP) Day on Saturday, May 1. Hosted twice each year, PUP Day is an opportunity for litter pick-up and community beautification efforts on Highway 153 in Powdersville. PUP Day partners include Palmetto Pride, Anderson County, and United Way of Anderson County, along with Walmart of Powdersville, Eggs Up Grill-Powdersville, Powdersville Water, and Anderson Districts 1 & 2 Career and Technology Center. The May 1 event boasted approximately 40 volunteers who collected 125 bags of trash along Highway 153 in Powdersville. Special volunteers that day included SC Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette and SC House Representative West Cox. Our PBC is happy to sow our Powdersville Pride!
