Presented by Sam’s Club of Easley, the Small Business of the Year Award recognizes a small business with a special entrepreneurial spirit, a unique marketing approach, or a special focus on the customer that results in a successful business…all while making time to actively serve the community. On March 14, the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce was pleased to honor Cindy Fox Miller & Associates – Keller Williams Powdersville its 2019 Small Business of the Year. Cindy Fox Miller attended Easley High School and graduated from Clemson University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In 1989 she began a career in real estate with her mother, Jo Anne Fox, serving as her mentor. And in 1996, she and her mother became co-owners of Barnes & Tripp Real Estate. As her production grew over the years, a new real estate company of Cindy Fox Miller & Associates was born. In 2009, she opened Keller Williams Western Upstate as a co-owner, which as has expanded to locations in Anderson, Seneca, Clemson, Powdersville & the lakes with the Luxury Lake Living Market Center. Professionally, she is a Licensed SC Broker Associate and holds national real estate designations as follows: CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) – only 1% of Realtors nationwide hold this designation GRI (Graduate of The Realtor’s Institute) CBR (Certified Buyer’s Representative) CLHMS (Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist) Her company has ranked as high as #47 in the nation with Keller Williams for number of units sold and has been in the Top 10 Team Division for NC/SC Region. During the span of her 30 years in the real estate business, her company has sold over $300 million in volume in Upstate SC and served over 2500 families. In addition to her business success, she is a community servant who finds time to serve in many roles. She has served as president of the Greenville Association of Realtors MLS, board member for Sharing, Inc., board member and Chairman of the Baptist Easley Hospital Foundation, and advisory board member for Cornerstone National Bank. In addition, she serves on the Powdersville Business Council Advisory Board and was honored with the Council Member of the Year Award in 2018 for her leadership and tireless commitment. With 30 years of real estate success and community service efforts, she humbly credits her success to her mother’s professional example and the many dedicated team members that have supported her over the years.
