Easley and Pickens Rotary Clubs Dedicate 'Rotary Park' on Doodle Trail Easley and Pickens Rotary Club celebrated the ribbon cutting and grand opening of Rotary Park on Tuesday, September 13. Located near where Rice Road and Elljean Roads intersect, Rotary Park is the halfway point on the Doodle Trail and was created for bicylcist and walkers who could use a rest stop while on the trail. About 50 Rotarians and officials from both cities, among friends and trail users gathered to celebrate and cut the ribbon for the new Rotary Park. Both the Easley and Pickens Rotary Clubs worked together to raise the $15,000 to build the park. Rotary Park welcomes trail users to pull of on a concrete semicircular drive and have a seat on one of the two benches or take a look at the trail map. There is also a bicylce repair rack with tools attached for anyone who made need to make adjustments to their bike.
